Last week, we introduced a new insurance step in Exfresso Forward, and we accidentally removed a few key fields in the process:
- Total Carton Pcs Count
- House BOL #
- Master BOL #
- Pickup #
- In Transit Bond #
As of yesterday, these fields are back.
You’ll currently find them on the Insurance step of the booking flow, but in the coming days they’ll move to a dedicated step that only appears when either Airline Pickup or CFS Pickup is selected.
Why these fields matter
These fields are essential for domestic shipments where we’re only handling a one-off pickup from an airline or ocean CFS — not the full air or ocean shipment. Since we don’t have the rest of the shipment details in these cases, it’s important for booking users to manually enter this info.
Without it, the driver may show up to the terminal without the necessary documentation — leading to delays and extra costs.
